Hanuman Temple Corridor Work Started

Prayagraj The construction of Shri Bade Hanuman Mandir Corridor located on the banks of Sangam will formally begin from Tuesday i.e. 30th July. 

The work of the second phase will be started after the completion of Maha Kumbh. In the first phase, it is proposed to complete the work outside except the sanctum sanctorum.

The construction work of Badi Hanuman Mandir Corridor on Sangam Ghat will start from Tuesday. Its tender has been awarded to Univastu Boots Infra Limited. The company's engineers conducted a site inspection along with the PDA team.
 

The process of getting construction material has started. The first phase will be completed by December. The next phase of work will be done after Maha Kumbh.

The corridor will be constructed in 11,186 square meters (2.76 acres). The agency will first build a boundary wall. Along with the construction, there will also be a process of removing encroachment. The corridor will be constructed in almost the same area as the present complex of the temple and the park in front.

Right now there are two gates to enter the temple. After the corridor is built, there will be six gates, then the entry will be from Akshayvat Marg. When the devotees leave after taking a bath at Sangam, they will enter the temple corridor from Akshayvat Marg and after having darshan, they will leave from the dam side.

Before this, they will also be able to visit Akshayvat. 40 shops of worship material and prasad will be built on the boundary wall of the corridor.

There will be an open hall of 6170 square meters. The winding path for entering the temple will be of 624 square meters. Apart from this, security room, kitchen, facility block and Mahant Bhawan will be built. Benches will be installed for the devotees to sit. There will also be arrangements for greenery.Except the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, other works will be completed by December. Its tender is worth Rs 38.73 crore.
