Maa Vindhyavasini Padyatra: Journey from Kashi to Vindhyadham on August 6, attractive people from across the country will join

The pilgrimage from Kashi to the shrine of Maa Vindhyavasini will begin on August 6th. After paying obeisance at the Gurudwara, the pilgrimage will proceed to the Mother's shrine. Devotees from across the country will arrive in Kashi to join the procession.

The pilgrimage will begin on the second day of the bright fortnight of Shravan month from the Shri Bal Mata Temple Devi Kotha in Chowk. Devotees of the Goddess will travel to Kashi from across the country to participate in the pilgrimageThe devotees of the Maa Vindhyavasini Padyatra Swagat Samiti will be welcomed throughout the way. Information Minister Vikas Mehrotra said that for many years, the Maa Vindhyavasini Padyatra has been starting from Kashi to the court of Maa Vindhyavasini. Chanting praises of the Mother Goddess, devotees will arrive at the Maa Bhadrakali Temple accompanied by drums and trumpets. Family members of the late Atmaram Saigal will perform a Jyoti Puja, followed by bhajans and the procession will begin.

The procession will proceed via Satyanarayan Temple, Bansfatak, Godaulia, Church, and Gurubagh Gurdwara. After paying obeisance, devotees will proceed to the Mother's shrine. The special thing about this journey is that for the last many years, many families have been following it as their family tradition for many generations.

The procession will travel through Bhimchandi, Rajatalab, Barainighat, and Kachhwa Bazaar to reach the Mother's shrine on the sixth day. A fasting vigil will be held at the Mother's shrine from Saptami to Ekadashi. There will be a large crowd on Nag Panchami.Deepak Bahl, Mahant of Shri Bal Mata Mandir Devi Kotha and President of Khatri Hitkarini Sabha, Pt. Rajkumar Dwigasn (Rajuguru), Mahant of Maa Bhadrakali Mandal and President of Maa Vindhyavasini Padyatra Welcome Committee Sunil Mehrotra and Secretary Gopal Ji Seth have appealed to the pilgrims to participate in the procession and service camp. The truck carrying the pilgrims' belongings will be parked at Malviya Market on August 6th from 7 to 9 am.
